The City is seeking a collaborative, accessible and compassionate human resources professional to manage a comprehensive range of personnel services for a workforce of more 180 regular full-time and part-time employees, 50 seasonal employees, and over 80 paid on-call firefighters. Key areas of responsibility include recruitment, selection and hiring, benefits, compensation and job classification, policy development, collective bargaining, and legal compliance and reporting. The position manages a part-time HR specialist, and a budget of more than $212,000. The position reports to the City Administrator, serves as a liaison to the City’s Police and Fire Commission and staffs the Common Council’s Personnel Committee.
