GovTemps - Brown County, WI - Human Resources Manager

GovTempsUSA seeks candidates to fill a three to six-month interim assignment as Human Resources Manager for the Brown County Administration Offices in Green Bay, WI. The selected candidate will work an estimated 40 hours/week and be an employee of GovTempsUSA. The assignment will be under consideration for contract-to-permanent hire.

About the County: Brown County (pop. 240,000) is the 4th largest County in Wisconsin. The County is composed of 13 townships, nine villages and two cities, of which Green Bay is the largest. It is one of the most progressive and rapidly growing cities in Wisconsin while still retaining some of the most beautiful and charming residential suburbs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Under the direction of the Human Resources Director, coordinates the County’s continuous improvement effort, organizational development and training programs;
  • Leads investigations and recommends corrective action;
  • Participates in the analysis, design, development, and facilitation of training efforts & integrates best practices; focuses on training programs that will increase performance of individuals; various departments/units served;
  • Lead HR contact for position control process for organization and assists during the annual personnel position budgeting process;
  • Supervises the Sr. HR Analyst and HR Analysts.

Position Requirements: Seeking experienced Human Resources Manager, with bachelor’s degree and minimum five years progressively responsible management experience. Experience working with organizational development and/or training required.
