GovTempsUSA is assisting the City of Aurora in filling a Payroll Administration Aide assignment.

  • Description of Duties:   Perform a variety of accounting and computational functions in order to prepare compensation payments to all employees and Fire and Police pensioners.
     
  • Position Requirements:  Responsibilities include ensuring that all Federal and State rules and regulations, pay plans and labor agreements are administered as they relate to employee compensation, benefits and work schedules. Supervises the daily activity of assigned clerical assistants.  Provide training sessions for other non-Finance department personnel in the administration of payroll and time-keeping procedures.   
     
  • Hour/Days Per Week: 40 hours/week
     
  • Contract Duration: 2-3 months, possible temp-to-hire   
     
  • Hourly Rate: $26/hour

Selected candidate will be an employee of GovTempsUSA with services contracted to the City. Benefits include employer matched IRA retirement plan and optional medical benefits.
